In this edition of “Meet the Lucky Orange team,” get to know one of the smiling faces on our customer support team – Jordan Welborn.
If you’ve reached out to Lucky Orange — whether it’s through chat, email or phone — you’ve probably already met Jordan. She’s one of the cheerful voices (or faces) clients get to meet when they have questions or need help.
If you’ve been keeping up with our latest blog post on the new office space, you’ll know that we have some pretty intense games of PIG.
And a game of PIG wouldn’t be complete without Jordan’s typical victory.
(Be sure to ask Jordan about her signature Flamingo shot!)
Of course, there’s so much more to Jordan.
We put her in the proverbial hot seat to learn more about Jordan and her work here at Lucky Orange.
Angi Bowman (AB): Good morning! Let’s start with a lay-up. How do you describe your job in 25 words or less?
Jordan Welborn (JW): I have the privilege of developing long-term relationships with our large enterprise accounts. I am their go-to contact for any and everything Lucky Orange!
AB: As you look back at your last four months here at Lucky Orange, what do you think is the coolest thing about your job?
JW: The fun and encouraging environment that has been created. Our office is filled with Nerf guns, video games, hoverboards and basketball hoops. We know how to have fun but also how to get down to business when need be. All team members truly care about each other, and we all want to succeed as a team.
AB: Looking back at your life, what is the best advice you’ve ever received?
JW: “The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.” We get so focused on going through the motions every day that we forget what our big goals/dreams are and how we are going to achieve them.
AB: So true! Now I’m curious – what’s one important skill you think every person should learn?
JW: I would say learning how to laugh at yourself. Don’t take yourself or life too seriously.
AB: Speaking of laughing, give me your best joke!
JW: … Why does Snoop Dogg carry an umbrella? Fo Drizzle
AB: Last question! If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
JW: The ability to teleport. Think of all the places in the world you could travel to! Also, I could sleep in longer with virtually no commute time to get to work. 🙂
Tune in next month as we put Molly Staats, our senior marketing manager, in the hot seat for the “Meet the Lucky Orange team” spotlight.
